In Updates

We hope you’re having a fantastic week. We have a brief update for you today regarding shipping surveys and production progress.

Shipping Surveys

Thank you so much to all of you who have submitted your surveys on the first week! We’ve already received over 91% of all surveys, which is pretty impressive. You guys are awesome.

For those of you in the other 9%, you have nine days left to fill it out. Obviously, we can’t ship you your much-deserved reward if we don’t have your address! You can find the instructions on how to find and fill out your survey here.

Production Update

Today, we’re proud to announce that our assembly line has been set up. Instructed workers test assembled 50 PIEs last Friday, and it was quite fascinating to see the team get faster and faster as they got used to the task. After a few tweaks, we believe we’ll be able to produce at least 500 units per day. We’ll be ready to start the full assembly process as soon as the mass-produced boxes, containers, and user guides arrive!

<Test assembly complete!>

The flawed PCBs that we showed you in the previous update were all thrown out. The new ones arrived early this week and should soon be heading out for surface mounting.

<Flawed PCBs: problem solved>

We’re now pretty much past the stages of uncertainty where a lot of the jobs were highly dependent on 3rd parties following through. The hard part is done, and we couldn’t have done this without your support. Thank you again for backing this project.

That’s it for this week. Please don’t forget to fill out your shipping surveys if you haven’t already done so, and we’ll see you next Thursday!
